The arrangements of the final phase of the semester and the coming winter vacation are as follows:
1. Students’ holiday starts from January 11, 2013 and ends by March 2, 2013. Students are required to check in on March 3 and attend classes on March 4.
2. Teachers and staff start their holiday from January 13, 2013 and return to work on March 2, 2013 for the new semester. .
3. The SCBC Seminar on Strategic Development is to be held between February 26 and February 28, 2013. Attendees are: deputy chief and all management leaders above deputy chief in the administration, personnel in charge for various majors, heads of all teaching and research sections, full-time teaching supervisors, all professors from departments and divisions.
4. All divisions, offices, departments, centers and library should complete the work of final exams or other corresponding tasks by the end of this semester, as notified by the Teaching Affairs Division, and prepare for the work of teaching or other corresponding responsibilities for the next semester.
5. A thorough safety check must be carried out before the winter vacation starts, and valuable articles and documents must be tidied and kept properly. The Security Division should make clear the duty of surveillances for important buildings or areas to ensure the security and stability of SCBC during the winter vacation.
