The College has decided a five-day holiday leave for 2013 May Day (International Labour Day) from April 29 to May 3.
Of the five days, May 1 is the official public holiday. There will be the re-schedule of work for the other four days as follows: classes scheduled on April 29 (Monday) will be adjusted to April 27 (Saturday); the day classes on April 30 (Tuesday) to April 28 (Sunday); and night classes on April 30 (Tuesday) to the night of April 26 (Friday). The classes scheduled on May 2 (Thursday) and May 3 (Friday) will be adjusted to July 1 (Monday) and July 2 (Tuesday) respectively. The original schedule for final exams and summer vacation will be postponed for two days accordingly.
The 2013 undergraduate graduation thesis ( or design) defense is held on the first weekend of May (May 4 and May 5). Some staff and teachers will resume work on May 4 and/or 5 as specified by the College and the Division of Teaching Affairs; and the Commuter Bus Team, Canteen, Educational Technology Center and other related offices or divisions thus should provide necessary support correspondingly.
Please make sure that the work before the holiday leave is well-arranged, and a schedule of duty personnel prepared is needed.
