To all divisions, offices, departments, centers and library,
The College has the following notice for 2014 New Year’s Day and winter vacation.
1. There is only one day off work for the New Year’s Day on January 1, 2014 (Wednesday).
2. Students’ winter vacation starts from January 10, 2014 and ends by February 21, 2014. Students are required to check in on February 22 (Saturday) or 23 (Sunday), and attend classes on February 24 (Monday).
3. Faculty and staff have their holidays from January 13 to February 21, and return to work on February 22 (Saturday).
4. All divisions, offices, departments, centers and library should complete the work of final exams and other related tasks by the end of this semester, as notified by the Teaching Affairs Division, and make necessary preparations for teaching and other related responsibilities for the next semester.
5. A thorough safety check must be carried out before the winter vacation starts. Academic files, materials, documents and other valuables must be kept properly, and safety reminders be given to students, faculty and staff. The Security Division should make clear the duty of surveillances for important buildings or areas to ensure the security and stability of the school during the holiday.
