A public notice is now made as follows on schedules for the 2017 New Year’s Day off and the winter vacation:
Schedules for the New Year’s Day Off:
A 3-day holiday shall be observed from Dec. 31st of 2016 (Saturday) to Jan. 2nd of 2017 (Monday) with one day (Saturday) off for the public holiday on Dec. 31st of 2016, another day (Sunday) off for the national legal holiday coinciding with a regular Sunday, and still another day (a switch off day) off on Jan 2nd of 2017.
School and work shall resume on Jan 3rd of 2017 (Tuesday).
Schedules for the Winter Vacation
Students shall start the winter vacation on Jan. 4th of 2017 (Wednesday) and end up on Feb 17th of 2017 (Friday). Back to school for attendance check takes place on Feb. 18th of 2017 (Saturday) and class begins on Feb. 20th of 2017 (Monday).
Staff and faculty shall start the winter vacation on Jan. 7th of 2017 (Saturday) and end up on Feb. 20th of 2017 (Monday).
Work starts on Feb. 18th of 2017 (Saturday).
Teachers are supposed to execute the finals well and get their work well prepared for the coming semester. Services sectors should also get things well done for the end of the semester and get things well organized for the new semester.
