In-depth Cooperation to Begin between SCBC and Guangzhou Airport Logistics Association
A delegation from Guangzhou Airport Logistics Association led by the organization’s chairman Qin Jianping and its general secretary Que Yuezheng. The guests were received by Chairman of SCBC Ding Xiaojun and Vice President of SCBC He Aibing.
Mr. He extended his warm welcome to the entrepreneurs on behalf of South China Business College. He then briefed the guests on the history of development of SCBC, details of the Programme of Logistics, the achievements by the Collaborative Innovation Center for Airport Economy, the progress of SCBC’s collaboration with various industries, etc..He also expressed his sincere wishes for the future establishment of the School of Airport Logistics as an effort to strengthen SCBC’s college-enterprise cooperation and collaborative training of specialists.
Que Yuezhen shared with the occasion the Guangzhou Airport Logistics Association, such as its structure and mission, its vision for collaborative innovation and blueprint for the future, and the strategic role it plays in the development of airport economy. He agreed that enterprises and the college should work together for common good. He introduced the leading enterprises in the delegation to the college and hoped to see a win-win outcome for the cooperation.
Head of the School of Tourism and the personnel in charge of SCBC’scientific research, new student recruitment and graduate career development talked effervescently with the guests about many issues about the in-depth cooperation between the two sides. The entrepreneurs offered in the discussion their insights on the training of specialists in logistics, the building of the Logistics Programme and its curriculum setting.
After discussion and negotiation, the two sides had arrived at three areas of future cooperation: to jointly establish the School of Airport Logistics, the association to hold a Job Fair (Spring) at SCBC, and to conduct scientific research on Airport economic development and technological transformation.
Mr. Ding expressed his gratitude to the association and the enterprises for their devotion and generosity for the college. He hoped that the in-depth cooperation would contribute to SCBC’s endeavor of training students into professionals and the growth of Guangzhou’s airport economy.
