Kevin Oxley-Ayres BSc
I am from Derby, England. I have lived in many different places in England, and also many different places in the world. I am married, to a lady from the Philippines, and have a four year old daughter.
When I left school I joined the Royal Air Force, and was an officer working in air traffic control. After the R.A.F. I had no idea what I was going to do, so I decided to go to university to get a degree. After finishing university I worked in the Hotel and Catering trade for a number of years. I have done many different jobs, including, salesman, taxi driver, lorry driver, chauffuer and have also owned two of my own businesses, and have obviously been a teacher.
I first taught people how to do their job in the hotel. I have also taught people to swim, and coached people in the game of rugby and table tennis.
When I first came to China, in 2007, I was in a small town called Jishan in Shanxi, teaching at Jishan Normal College, then moved to Yuncheng, teaching at Yan Hua middle school and Yuncheng normal University. From there I moved to Qinzhou Foreign Language school in Guangxi. I was there for two years, and then came here in June 2010.
